Your opt-out and privacy request center.
One place to opt out of the connection disclosure, send a Global Privacy Control signal, or ask us to show, correct, delete or copy your information.
A real person answers in under 60 seconds. You pay the plumber directly — never this dispatch service.
Call the Dispatch LineThe Short Version
- We collect what we need to connect your call with a licensed plumbing contractor.
- We may be compensated for that connection, which some state laws call a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information.
- You can opt out of that — free, at any time, and without losing access to our free content.
- You can ask to see, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information.
- We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals from your browser.
- We do not sell your information to unrelated data brokers or list vendors.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, and similar laws in other states, you have the right to direct us not to sell or share your personal information. Under the Colorado Privacy Act you have the right to opt out of the sale of personal data, of processing for targeted advertising, and of certain profiling.
How to opt out. Email us with “Do Not Sell or Share” in the subject line (team@lc.speedyplumbdispatch.com), or call the dispatch line and tell the dispatcher you want to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information.
What happens next. We record the opt-out against your phone number and email, and we stop disclosing your information to plumbing contractors for compensation. Because the dispatch service works by disclosing your details to a contractor who can take the job, an opt-out means we may not be able to connect you with a plumber — we will still give you our cost information and answer questions over the phone, and you can find and hire a licensed plumber directly. We will tell you on the call if your opt-out prevents a connection.
We do not charge you, and we do not degrade the free content on this site, for exercising this right.
Global Privacy Control
This site honors Global Privacy Control. If your browser or extension sends a GPC opt-out signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information for your browser session.
GPC is supported in Firefox and Brave, and via extensions in other browsers. For a durable opt-out that applies to the phone line as well as the website, send us the email or call — a browser signal cannot cover a phone call.
Your Other Rights
- Access / know: the categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
- Correct: fix inaccurate information.
- Delete: delete information we collected from you, subject to legal record-keeping exceptions.
- Portability: receive a copy in a portable format.
- Limit sensitive personal information: we do not collect sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics.
- Non-discrimination: you will not be denied service or charged more for exercising a privacy right.
How to Make a Request
- Email team@lc.speedyplumbdispatch.com and say what you want — access, correction, deletion, copy, or opt-out.
- Call the dispatch line (call now) and ask to make a privacy request.
- Include your name, the phone number you used, and your state of residence. An authorized agent must include written permission signed by the consumer.
Verification. We match what you tell us against our records and confirm you control the phone number or email address involved. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not charge a fee for a reasonable request.
Timing. 45 days from a verifiable request, with one extension of up to 45 days if we explain why. We will confirm receipt within 10 business days.
If We Say No, You Can Appeal
If we decline part of a request, we will tell you which part, why, and how to appeal. Reply with the single word Appeal and we will review the decision with someone who was not involved the first time and respond in writing. Colorado, Virginia and Connecticut consumers also have the right to contact their state Attorney General.
Stop Calls and Texts Too
- Reply STOP to any text message from us.
- Tell the dispatcher you want no further contact, or ask for our internal do-not-call list.
- Tell the dispatcher before the call continues if you do not want the call recorded or monitored.
Suppression requests are honored indefinitely. These options only affect contact from us; a contractor you hired may keep its own records, and you should ask that contractor directly.
