The rules for using our dispatch service.
SpeedyPlumbDispatch is a dispatch and connection service — not a plumbing company. These terms cover what that means for you, how our cost estimates should be read, and how disputes are handled.
A real person answers in under 60 seconds. You pay the plumber directly — never this dispatch service.
Call the Dispatch LineAcceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of this website and the SpeedyPlumbDispatch telephone dispatch service (together, the “Service”). By using the Service — including by calling the dispatch line — you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old and located in the United States to use the Service, and you must have authority to request service at the address involved.
What the Service Is — and Is Not
SpeedyPlumbDispatch (“SpeedyPlumbDispatch”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website at https://www.speedyplumbdispatch.com and a telephone dispatch service that connects homeowners and property owners anywhere in the United States with licensed, independent plumbing contractors. We are a dispatch and connection service. We are not a plumbing company, we do not send plumbers, and we do not perform plumbing work.
- We are a dispatch and referral service. When you call, a live dispatcher collects your problem and location and connects you with a licensed, independent plumbing contractor serving your area.
- We are not a plumbing contractor. We do not perform plumbing work, do not send our own plumbers, do not supervise the work, and do not guarantee any particular contractor’s availability, arrival time, workmanship, or price.
- The contractors are independent businesses. Each is solely responsible for the work they perform, their own licensing and insurance, and their own conduct and pricing. Your agreement for plumbing work is between you and the contractor.
- The dispatch call is free to you. You pay the contractor directly for work performed, and only after you approve a written price.
Emergency and Safety Notice
- If water is actively flooding your home, shut off your main water valve if you safely can, then call.
- If anyone is injured or there is an electrical hazard near water, call 911 first.
- For suspected carbon monoxide, get everyone outside and call 911.
The Service is designed to speed up a connection. It is not an emergency response service, and it does not replace 911, your utility, or a licensed professional’s judgment on site.
Pricing, Estimates and How We Are Paid
Cost ranges, averages and calculators on this website are informational estimates compiled from public data and market research. They are not quotes, not offers, and not a promise of the price you will be charged. Local conditions, materials, access, code requirements and the contractor’s own rates all change the real number.
The authoritative price is the written quote the contractor gives you before work starts. Read it. Nothing obligates you to accept it, and declining it costs you nothing.
How we are paid: we may be compensated by participating plumbing contractors when we connect a caller with them. That compensation does not appear on your invoice, does not change the amount you pay the contractor, and does not entitle us to a share of the work.
Your Responsibilities
- Give accurate information: a phone number you can be reached at, the correct service address, and an honest description of the problem.
- Have authority to request plumbing service at that address.
- Provide the address and phone number only if you consent to us and the matched contractor using them to respond to your request.
- Verify the contractor’s license and insurance before work begins, and ask for the price in writing before you approve anything.
- Do not use the Service to place fraudulent, harassing, or automated bulk calls, or to scrape, resell or misrepresent our data or content.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
- Submit false requests, flood the dispatch line, or use bots, scripts or automated dialers against it.
- Copy, scrape, resell or republish substantial portions of this website, its datasets or its written content without our permission, other than the limited citation right described below.
- Interfere with the operation, security or integrity of the website or the dispatch line.
Intellectual Property and Data Citation
The SpeedyPlumbDispatch name, logo, page copy, page structure, cost datasets and the calculator are owned by us or licensed to us and are protected by copyright and other law. You may not copy or republish them except as described here.
Limited citation right. Journalists, researchers, educators and other publishers may cite our published cost figures and statistics with clear attribution to SpeedyPlumbDispatch and a link to the source page. Bulk reproduction of our datasets, or use of our content or data to build a competing service, is not permitted without written consent.
Third-party names and brands that appear on this site are used for identification purposes only and remain the property of their owners.
Third-Party Services and Content
Contractors and other third parties we reference are independent of us. We do not control and are not responsible for their websites, content, pricing, scheduling, workmanship or conduct. Any dispute about work performed is between you and the contractor.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service and all content on this website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that a contractor will be available for your address, or that any estimate will match the price you are quoted.
See also our Disclaimer page.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpeedyPlumbDispatch and its owners, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, property damage, or cost of substitute services arising out of or relating to the Service, the acts or omissions of any contractor, or this website — even if we were advised such damages were possible.
Because the dispatch call is free to you, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold SpeedyPlumbDispatch harmless from claims, losses and costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or information you provide that is false, misleading or provided without authority.
Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
Talk to us first. Email us with a description of the problem and give us 30 days to resolve it before starting any formal proceeding.
Arbitration. If we cannot resolve it, any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, seated in Denver, Colorado. You and we each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to bring or participate in a class or representative action.
Your right to opt out. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing us a clear written request to opt out, including your name and phone number. If you opt out, disputes proceed in court and this class-action waiver will not apply to you.
Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court, or seek injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property or system security.
The laws of the State of Colorado govern these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and apply regardless of where in the United States you are located. Mandatory consumer protections in your home state are not waived.
Changes, Termination and General Terms
We may update these Terms; the effective date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and continued use of the Service after a change means you accept it. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest of these Terms remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a business transfer. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
