What we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Short version: we collect what is needed to connect your call to a licensed plumbing contractor, we do not sell your information to data brokers, and you can opt out of the connection disclosure at any time.
A real person answers in under 60 seconds. You pay the plumber directly — never this dispatch service.
Call the Dispatch LineWho We Are
SpeedyPlumbDispatch (“SpeedyPlumbDispatch”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website at https://www.speedyplumbdispatch.com and a telephone dispatch service that connects homeowners and property owners anywhere in the United States with licensed, independent plumbing contractors. We are a dispatch and connection service. We are not a plumbing company, we do not send plumbers, and we do not perform plumbing work.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you call our dispatch line, use this website, or interact with our content; how we use it; who we share it with; how long we keep it; and the rights and choices available to you. It applies to residents of every U.S. state. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the website or the dispatch line.
Questions or requests: Email team@lc.speedyplumbdispatch.com, or call the dispatch line and ask to speak about a privacy or legal matter.
Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Your name and the telephone number you are calling from or want to be reached at.
- The service address or ZIP code where the plumbing problem is, and property details you volunteer (for example, that the home is a rental, or that the water heater is in a crawlspace).
- A description of the problem — no hot water, sewer backup, burst pipe, slow drain, and similar.
- Your email address, if you choose to email us or ask us to send something.
- Anything else you tell the dispatcher or send us.
Information collected automatically on the phone
- Caller ID and the number that dialed us.
- Call detail data: date, time, duration, which dispatcher or partner line handled the call, and whether the call was connected or transferred.
- Call recordings or monitoring, where applicable (see Call Recording and Monitoring below).
- Keypad or menu selections made on an automated phone menu.
Website and device information
- IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system and screen size.
- Pages you viewed on this site, the page or search result you arrived from, and the time you spent.
- Cookie identifiers and similar analytics identifiers (see our Cookie Policy).
- Approximate location inferred from your IP address — city-level, not precise GPS.
Information from other sources
- Our telephony and call-tracking service providers, which record and route call data on our behalf.
- Our website hosting, analytics and email providers.
- The plumbing contractors we connect you with, when they report back on a job (for example, whether the job was accepted or completed), so we can run a working dispatch service.
How We Use Information
- To provide the service you asked for — matching your request with a participating licensed plumbing contractor, transferring or routing your call, and passing the contractor the details needed to respond (your number, address, and the problem).
- To follow up on your request — calling or texting the number you gave us, or having the matched contractor do so, to confirm an arrival time and a written price.
- Quality, training and safety — reviewing calls to improve the dispatch service, train dispatchers, and resolve disputes.
- To operate and improve the website — measuring which pages answer real questions, fixing problems, and understanding aggregate demand.
- Security and fraud prevention — detecting abusive, automated or fraudulent use of the dispatch line.
- Legal compliance — meeting our obligations, responding to lawful requests, and enforcing our Terms of Service.
We may combine information collected on the phone with information collected on the website to run the service — for example, matching the page you were reading with the problem you described on the call.
How We Share Information
- With participating plumbing contractors and their dispatch staff. This is how the service works: your phone number, address and problem description go to the contractor(s) who can take the job. Contractors handle your information under their own privacy practices, and we encourage you to ask them directly.
- With service providers working for us under contract. Telephony, call-tracking, hosting, analytics, email delivery, customer-support and security vendors, limited to what they need to perform their function and bound to keep it confidential.
- For legal and safety reasons. When we believe disclosure is required by law or valid legal process, or necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of any person.
- In a business transfer. If the service is sold, merged or reorganized, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
- With your direction. If you ask us to share information with someone specific, we will act on that instruction.
How we are paid, and what that means for your privacy
We may be compensated by participating plumbing contractors when we connect a caller with them. Because we disclose your phone number and request details to a participating contractor and may be compensated for that connection, some state privacy laws — including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, and the Colorado Privacy Act — may treat that disclosure as a sale or sharing of personal information.
You can opt out of that disclosure at any time, free of charge, at Privacy Choices — Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information, by emailing us, or by telling the dispatcher on the call. We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out signals sent by your browser on this site.
We do not sell your personal information to unrelated third-party data brokers or list vendors, and we do not sell it to anyone for their own independent marketing purposes. We do not use your information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Call Recording and Monitoring
We and our telephony providers may record or monitor calls to the dispatch line for quality assurance, training, safety, fraud prevention, and to document what you asked for. Where the law requires the consent of everyone on the call before recording, we obtain it.
Some states require all parties to consent to a recorded call and others require only one party’s consent. If you do not want the call recorded or monitored, tell the dispatcher before you continue and we will handle your request without recording it — or, if the service cannot reasonably be delivered that way, end the call. You can also ask us to note a recording opt-out on your number so it carries forward.
Do not read out Social Security, payment card, or bank numbers on the call. If a payment is needed, arrange it directly with the contractor.
Cookies, Analytics and Tracking
This website uses cookies and similar technologies for essential site function, for analytics (to understand which pages actually help people), and for basic security. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles of you, and we do not sell cookie data. The full list, with purposes and durations, is in our Cookie Policy.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on, or send a Global Privacy Control signal, which we honor as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing.
Calls, Texts and Your Contact Preferences
You call us first. We do not place telemarketing calls or send marketing text messages to people who have not asked us to contact them.
When you call or submit a request, you are asking us and the matched contractor to respond to it. That means you consent to be contacted at the number you provided — by phone, text, or automated technology — about your request, and for no other purpose. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
You can stop contact at any time: tell the dispatcher, reply STOP to any text message, email us, or ask to be placed on our internal do-not-call list. We keep suppression lists so your choice is honored going forward. Marketing consent withdrawal does not stop us from contacting you about a request you have already made, or from keeping records we are legally required to keep.
How Long We Keep Information
- Call records and service requests: up to 24 months from your last contact, then deleted or de-identified.
- Website and analytics data: up to 14 months in Google Analytics.
- Do-not-call and opt-out lists: kept indefinitely, because we need them to keep honoring your choice.
- Legal, tax and dispute records: kept as long as the law requires or as needed to resolve a dispute.
When we de-identify information, we remove the identifiers that connect it to you and keep the aggregate statistics (for example, how many calls came from a ZIP code).
How We Protect Information
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we hold: encryption in transit, restricted internal access on a need-to-know basis, vendor contracts that require confidentiality, and routine review of how long we keep data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security — but we do not collect payment card data on this website, which removes the single most sensitive category from our systems.
Children’s Privacy
This service and website are intended for adults arranging plumbing work on their own property or one they are authorized to manage. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child’s information reached us, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Rights
Whatever state you live in, we will honor the requests below to the extent the law requires, and we will not discriminate against you for making one — you will not be denied service or charged a different price for exercising a privacy right.

How to make a request
